Can't wait for the greatest comedy show in the world: the midterm elections.

"D'ick Cheney was on the news this week, and he said that it would be a mistake for the Republicans to moderate their policies. He said they should remain true to their core principles: g** bashing, war profiteering, losing wars and torture." --Bill Maher

"Are you folks worried about the economy?Stock market crumbling.Everybodys crazy about this.Dont worry.Bush says hes got something in mind to give it a sh** in the arm.And if that doesnt work,Cheney is going to give it a sh** in the face."~David Letterman

"Our vice president, our old friend, ***k Cheney got in some trouble, made a joke.Did you hear about this?Made a joke about West Virginia, but he apologized. He did apologize for the joke he made about Virginia.Nothing yet on the Iraq war."~David Letterman

LOL
Cannabal - May 7, 2014, 6:08 pm
See, I agree with the notion that government can't run anything right. I mean, it couldn't take over a nation properly, it certainly couldn't administer health care without f'ucking it up.
fauxnews - May 7, 2014, 5:26 pm
@ Cannabal "I agree with you, Emma, I mean, what makes people think that the government can run anything right. Take wars, for instance." Iraq War cost more than $2 trillion, despite GOVT promises it would quick, inexpensive and light casualties. FTW
Cannabal - May 7, 2014, 5:19 pm
I agree with you, Emma, I mean, what makes people think that the government can run anything right. Take wars, for instance. Isn't that the biggest Big-Government policy there is? Why do people support such a taxing idea?
fauxnews - May 7, 2014, 5:16 pm
*yawn*No one here said they were.Comparing USA to nations overseas. But you're right..apparently BOTH govt parties sux when it comes to managing America:"Debt ceiling raised 74 times since 1962,including 18x under Reagan, 7x under Bush, and 5x under Obama."
EmmaRoydes - May 7, 2014, 5:03 pm
If the feds are so great at managing anything, why do they keep having to raise the debt ceiling and tax us more and more?
Cannabal - May 7, 2014, 4:44 pm
Just bringing balance to all the overwhelmingly bull**** armchair political propaganda on this site.
fauxnews - May 7, 2014, 4:29 pm
BTW It's a pleasure having you back in the post-Vik era. Glad to have you as part of the politifake family. You rock. Always have…Always will! *in my best bad Elvis voice*
fauxnews - May 7, 2014, 4:27 pm
An actual reputable study from a reputable REAL news source. Will wonders never cease.haha Israel is #4! (Woo!Hoo!!)The UK is #14(not bad) ;-), Canada is#17(also not shabby).USA is near the bottom at#46,beat out by Iran right above it.LOL Not surprised.X-D
Cannabal - May 7, 2014, 2:46 pm
A pleasure to be back, Faux. By the way, here's some interesting reading for all. http://www.bloomberg.com/visual-data/best-and-worst/most-efficient-health-care-countries
fauxnews - May 7, 2014, 1:18 pm
...but the truth,of course,is that America(because of its corporate freedom)has one of the worst systems on Earth. So they have to scapegoat govt & other nations, because it they didn't they'd have to admit it all their fault. Welcome back btw Cannabal :-)
fauxnews - May 7, 2014, 1:16 pm
...yet those same Teabag party imbeciles in their defense of privatization of medicine essentially are arguing for welfare...for the rich. No system is perfect. So they make the perfect the enemy of the good in their international critiques...
fauxnews - May 7, 2014, 1:13 pm
Of course it is Cannabal. $80 for ibuprofen on an ER bill in America, yeah, not very efficient..lol..Then lower information voters in America's Teabag party attack Canada and others for their much more efficient healthcare because they need a scapegoat...
Cannabal - May 7, 2014, 12:41 pm
Yeah, I mean, who knows: a system regulated to perform health care properly to effect proper outcomes might be worth a d***--of course, that idea is actually too conservative for people, so we just cannot have that.
Cannabal - May 7, 2014, 12:33 pm
If private companies are so great at rendering health care services properly, then why the hell did this debate over the health care industry come about in the first place? COuld it be the system is outdated and not properly streamlined as it should be?
EmmaRoydes - May 7, 2014, 10:22 am
You're only saying that because the government has such a great track record at running things. Like, oh, maybe Social Security, Welfare, WIC, unemployment, etc.
Curlyrocks - May 7, 2014, 1:13 am
Normally I would agree with you, but since in this case it didn't affect the super rich at all, and only caused the evil middle class to lose their plans and get dragged down to the level of the poor I guess it's ok.
Cannabal - May 7, 2014, 12:39 am
Reigning in the insurance companies? Only a filthy Commie-socialist would ever utter such a statement. Surely allowing the insurance companies to self-regulate themselves will yield no negative consequences whatsoever at all in any real way, shape or form
Curlyrocks - May 6, 2014, 10:47 pm
True but I have a short attention span, all I can focus on is the recent massive failure to reign in the insurance companies.
Cannabal - May 6, 2014, 7:49 am
Beg your pardon, but shouldn't you be blasting and denouncing American healthcare for its failure to operate properly as a capitalist system? Because the U.S. health care system is less efficient than Canada's by a real wide margin according to Bloomberg.
Curlyrocks - May 6, 2014, 2:15 am
Just say'en blaming humanity's deep rooted problem with greed on my favorite economic model is kinda a cheap sh**.
Cannabal - May 6, 2014, 12:45 am
Oh, Curly, I missed your bogus libertarian logic.
Curlyrocks - May 6, 2014, 12:38 am
